Αυτό έλειπε, φίλες και φίλοι. Δηλαδή το να μην σάρωνε τις υποψηφιότητες των φετινών Emmys το Succession με την φετινή τελευταία σεζόν του, μπαίνοντας εύκολα στο πάνθεων των Μεγάλων Σειρών της αμερικάνικης τηλεόρασης. Χτες λοιπόν ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψήφιοι για την τελετή βράβευσης του Σεπτεμβρίου, όπου θα τιμηθούν οι καλύτερες τηλεοπτικές σειρές και εκπομπές που προβλήθηκαν στην τηλεόραση και τις streaming πλατφόρμες από την 1η Ιουνίου 2022 μέχρι και τις 31 Μαΐου 2023.
Από πλευράς συνολικού αριθμού υποψηφιοτήτων, η κατάσταση έχει ως εξής. Προηγείται προφανώς το Succession με 27, ενώ ακολουθούν The Last of Us και The White Lotus να ακολουθούν με 24, και Ted Lasso με 21. Αξίζει να σημειωθεί πως το Succession έκανε επίσης το ρεκόρ των 3 υποψηφιοτήτων σε Α’ ρόλους, καθώς οι Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin και Jeremy Strong είναι όλοι τους (δικαίως) υποψήφιοι για το βραβείο Α’ ανδρικού ρόλου σε δραματική σειρά. Και μακάρι να το έπαιρναν και οι 3 μαζί.
